Bill Wright-Swadel’s commitment to the career development and well-being of individuals has been the foundation of a professional life in the arena of higher education. He has been a senior executive, thought leader, career advocate, individual practitioner, critic, speaker, and occasional poet.
Bill has led career organizations and delivered career services to the students and alumni of a range of exceptional colleges and universities across the US including Harvard, Duke, Dartmouth, the University of Rhode Island, the University of Maine and Bangor Community College, as well as SUNY New Paltz. Across these institutions, Bill worked with an extraordinarily diverse community of exceptional women and men on all aspects of their personal and professional growth and development.
Bill’s commitment to the field of career development has included consultation and advising of the full spectrum of local, regional, national, and international employers in building brand and partnering with academic institutions. The goal has centered on building experiential and full time employment opportunities to ensure productive pipelines for employers and exceptional development for candidates and team members.

Bill currently lives in North Carolina with his wife, Dorothea, while planning a transition back to their New England roots.
