Mitchell has more than 30 years of commercial insurance industry experience, with expertise in property and casualty, employee benefits and retirement plans. He joined The Plexus Groupe in 1996 to lead the agency’s sales and marketing efforts and, as a founding partner, he helped grow Plexus from a single office to a nationally recognized global insurance brokerage and consulting firm.

Prior to working at Plexus, Mitchell began his career as a field underwriter on the insurance carrier side in 1987.
He serves on national and local Boards and is a frequent speaker about key insurance topics at industry conferences and panels. Mitchell earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Logistics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
